We reupholster sofas, armchairs, chairs and headboards in our own workshop, with over 5,000 fabric references, so a piece that still has life in it isn't thrown out.
It is the trade the firm began with in 1961, and the fastest-growing side of the business today. We do all of it here: strip the piece back, check the frame, replace the foam where needed and reupholster it by hand.
From faux leather to velvet, from microfibre to silk and linen brocade. We choose the fabric for the wear the piece will take — a dining chair doesn't ask the same as a reading armchair — and for the style you want.
We also do marine upholstery: benches, berths and deck seating in fabrics and leathers that stand up to sun, salt and damp without going stiff.

- Every piece is assessed before quoting: the frame, the foam and the fabric it will take.
- If the piece has sentimental value or is an antique, it is worth us seeing it: they often hold up better than they look.
